Israeli forces kill teen, injure dozens during Gaza protest

Gaza (QNN) – A Palestinian teenager was killed and more than 105 others injured on Saturday as thousands of Palestinians gathered at the east border of the Gaza Strip to commemorate the 43rd anniversary of the Land Day and the first anniversary of the Great March of Return.
Heavily armed Israeli forces fired live bullets, rubber-coated steel rounds and teargas to disperse the protesters who gathered along the border to mark the occasion, killing Adham Nedal Amara, 17, and injuring 105 others, many of them in critical condition. Some of the wounded were moved to hospital and others were treated in the field hospitals.
Palestinian political and Islamic factions have called for a million-person protest at the border with Israel marking Land Day and the first anniversary of the launch of the Great March of Return protests, which so far claimed the lives of more than 220 Palestinians and the injury of over 13,000 others by Israeli forces gunfire.
