Israeli forces injure about 30 Palestinians taking part in anti-occupation protests in Nablus

Nablus (QNN)- Israeli forces injured at least 30 Palestinian protesters in Beita and Beit Dajan villages in Nablus while participating in the weekly anti-occupation protests on Friday.

The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed the IOF injured 32 Palestinians taking part in the peaceful protests against Israel’s occupation in Beita and Beit Dajan villages today.

In Beita, 21 Palestinian protesters were injured: 2 directly shot in the head with Israeli tear gas canisters, 17 others suffered from suffocation after inhaling the tear gas and two caused by the fall.

In Beit Dajan, 11 people suffered from suffocation after inhaling tear gas.

The forces attacked the protesters by intensively firing rubber-coated metal bullets, sound bombs, live ammunition and tear gas canisters disperse them.

Beit Dajan and Beita villages have been the site of weekly protests against the Israeli occupation and settlement expansion. However, although the protests have been peaceful, Israeli forces have suppressed, detained, and assaulted the protesters. This has resulted in injuring hundreds and killing others.
