Hebron (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces deployed at the entrance of Beit Ummar town in Hebron in the occupied West Bank on Friday, attacking thousands Palestinians participating in a funeral of youth killed by Israeli forces.

Israeli forces today’s afternoon deployed at the entrance of Beit Ummar town as thousands of Palestinians were participating in the funeral of 20-year-old Shawkat Awad who was shot dead yesterday by the Israeli forces.

The forces were seen attacking Palestinians by firing teargas canisters and rubber-coated metal bullets at those who participated in the funeral.

Awad was rushed to the hospital to get urgent medical treatment as his condition was critical.

Awad was shot with live ammunition in the head and chest. He was later announced dead.

Awad is the second Beit Ummar resident to be shot dead by the Israeli forces in 24 hours, as a 12-year-old Palestinian child Muhammad Allami was also killed on Wednesday evening by the Israeli forces after they opened fire directly at him at the entry to Beit Ummar.
