Israeli forces demolish, confiscate tents and equipment in Susiya

Occupied Hebron (QNN)- Israeli vehicles demolished on Tuesday facilities and equipment in the village of Susiya, south of Yatta, Hebron.
The head of Susiya village council, Jihad Nawajaa, told QNN that the Israeli forces stormed the village in this morning. The forces proceeded to dismantle and demolish a tent that has been used as storage and belonging to Ahmed Nawajaa. All contents of the tent have been confiscated.
He added that the Israeli forces confiscated the roof of another residential under-construction tent belonging to Khaled Nawajaa.
During the confiscation action, confrontations occurred between the Israeli forces and locals of the village, who gathered, trying to prevent the forces that began to attack the Palestinians in order to expel them from the village.
The coordinator of the National Committee against the Wall and the settlements in southern Hebron, Ratib Al-Jabour, said that the Israeli forces stormed the village, demolished the tents, and seized its contents.
Susiya is classified within the “C” areas, according to the Oslo accords, and is located under Israeli security control.
The village of Susiya contains 45 Palestinian families, including nearly 400 persons, and is subjected to a series of continuous violations by the Israeli forces. In 2019, the Israeli forces demolished about eight facilities in the village.
