Israeli forces demolish 3-agricultural Palestinian structures in Nablus

Nablus (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces earlier on Wednesday demolished three Palestinian-owned agricultural structures in Duma village south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources said Israeli forces raided the village, escorted bulldozers to the area, and demolished an agricultural structure owned by Palestinian resident of the village Faris Salawdeh, and two more owned by a resident from occupied Jerusalem.

Israeli occupation constantly demolishes structures and houses of Palestinians in Area C, claiming they were built without a permit, rarely, if ever, issued for Palestinians by the occupation authorities.

The occupation authorities also do not allow any development there while using the occupied land for its illegal settlement activities.

Under the 1995 Oslo Accords between ‘Israel’ and the Palestinian Authority, the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, was divided into three portions — Area A, B and C.

Area C is currently home to 300,000 Palestinians, the vast majority of whom are Bedouins and herding communities who predominantly live in tents, caravans and caves.

Thus, house demolitions, confiscation of the most basic infrastructure and military training exercises are part of everyday reality in the area.

There are nearly 700,000 Israeli settlers living in 256 illegal settlements and outposts scattered across the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem. Israeli settlements are illegal under international law.
