Tulkarm (Quds News Network) – In a massive two-day offensive (January 3-4), Israeli forces conducted extensive field investigations in the Nour Shams camp in the occupied West Bank, affecting approximately 500 individuals, including children and women.

The Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Club said in a press statement that around 150 Palestinians from the camp were transferred to one of the Israeli detention camps, while 20 individuals remained in custody following the Israeli offensive.

The total number of arrests in the West Bank since October 7th has reached 5650, encompassing those still held by the occupation and those released later, the statement said.

The incursion by Israeli forces into Nour Shams camp resulted in injuries, arrests, and significant damage to homes, streets, infrastructure, and public property, as reported by medical and local Palestinian sources.

Soldiers reportedly raided Palestinian homes, subjected residents to brutal field interrogations, and carried out violent arrests, leading to the detention of hundreds of individuals.
