Israeli forces close roads leading to Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem, arrest over 5 Palestinians

Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces closed all roads and entrances leading to the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in the occupied city of Jerusalem earlier on Wednesday and arrested over 5 Palestinian females, after a settler got injured in an alleged stabbing attempt.

Local sources said the occupation forces and police raided the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah and closed all roads and entrances leading to the neighborhood after a female settler got injured in an alleged stabbing attempt at the entrance to the neighborhood, as Israeli media claimed.

Following the incident, the occupation forces searched the suspect and launched a widescale police search operation in which a helicopter was also deployed.

They assaulted Palestinians and searched their vehicles.

They also raided the Al-Rawda Al-Haditha school in the neighborhood and searched all the Palestinian female students before arresting two sisters, a teacher and the head teacher of the school, turning the school upside-down.

The forces also arrested another 15-year-old Palestinian female student from the same school, claiming she is the one who carried out the alleged stabbing attempt.

They later raided the 15-year-old student house in the neighborhood and arrested her mother.

The student has not been identified, yet.
