Israeli forces brutally assault Palestinians and journalists in Bedouin village of Al-Atrash
Negev desert (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces on Monday bulldozed large tracts of a Palestinian land in the unrecognized village of Al-Atrash in the Negev desert, south of the 1948-occupied Palestine, before assaulting and detaining residents and journalists.
Earlier today, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Al-Atrash, where over 4,500 residents live, and demolished large tracts of a Palestinian-owned land. They also demolished a tent used by the Atrash family in al-Ruwais village as a shelter.

The Israeli occupation soldiers, however, brutally attacked and detained a Palestinian journalist while he was covering the bulldozing works carried out by the forces in the Al-Atrash village.

The forces also attacked the Palestinian residents who tried to prevent them from bulldozing their lands, detaining one of them.

There are almost 100,000 Palestinians live in 35 Bedouin villages in the Negev and are unrecognized by the Israeli occupation government who views the Bedouin residents of these villages as illegal squatters and does not provide them with basic services or infrastructure, including electricity, water, sewage systems, roads, schools or hospitals.
The Israeli occupation government considers those Palestinian villages “unrecognised,” and therefore they are under threat of demolition.
