Israeli forces arrest Governor of Jerusalem

Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli forces on the dawn of Monday stormed different areas of occupied Jerusalem and arrested several Palestinians including the city’s Governor and Secretary of Fatah movement from Issawiyyeh.

Local sources said that Israeli forces arrested the Governor Adnan Gheith after breaking into his house. He was taken to an unknown destination.

Israeli forces also arrested Secretary of Fatah movement in occupied Jerusalem, Shadi Mtwar, and Secretary of the movement in Issawiyyeh Yaser Darwish.

Occupied Jerusalem has been through a brutal military campaign, which includes daily raids and arrests. The Governor has been arrested over ten times so far throughout the year as part of provocation policy followed by Israeli authorities.
