Israeli forces arrest 6 Palestinians from Hebron, steal money from house

Hebron (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces arrested 6 Palestinians from various parts of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron earlier on Thursday.

After raiding and searching their homes, Israeli occupation forces arrested six Palestinians in the Al-Aroub camp north of Hebron.

The detainees are: Dawood Banat (44), his son Ayoub (18), Ihsan Tafesh, Abdallah Tafesh, Hesham Tafesh, and Yehia al-Kawasmi.

Local sources also said that the forces raided two other Palestinian houses belong to Emad Abu Sharar and Raji AlBatat. The forces also stole an amount of money (13 thousand shekels).

Israeli forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids, which take place also in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

The Palestine Center for studies said recently that Israeli occupation authorities increased their arrests against native Palestinians, arresting 5260 citizens during the first half of 2021.

During the first half of 2021, ‘Israel’ arrested 5260 citizens, including 92 women and 880 children under the age of 18. 43 children are even under the age of 12.

The center documented 715 administrative detention orders that targeted all segments of society.

In the 1948-occupied territories, Israeli forces arrested nearly 2000 citizens. The arrests targeted children, women, and men.

Most detainees in the 1948-occupied cities got their freedom back after forcing them to pay fines.

In the occupied capital city, Israeli forces arrested nearly 1300 citizens, most of them children.

In Gaza, Israeli forces arrested 35 Palestinians near the borders. They also arrested a 35-year-old woman while he was accompanying his wife for surgery.
