Israeli forces arrest 19 Palestinians in several raids across occupied West Bank

Occupied West Bank (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces arrested 19 Palestinians during several raids across the occupied West Bank, this morning and last night.

Local sources reported that 19 Palestinians have been arrested last night and this morning by Israeli forces who raided several areas across the West Bank, searched Palestinians’ houses and ransacked them.

In Bethlehem, Israeli forces arrested six people from Hussan village, west of Bethlehem city, including a 16-year-old boy.

The forces also arrested a 44-year-old man from Bethlehem city.

In Ramallah, Israeli soldiers arrested a 17-year-old youth from Kufr Malik village, east of Ramallah city, and two others from the town of Beit Sira, west of Ramallah.

In the north of the West Bank, Israeli soldiers arrested three people from the town of Tel, in the Nablus district, and another from Nablus.

Two siblings were also arrested in the city of Tulkarm, three were arrested in Jenin, and one was arrested in the town of Bidya, near Salfit.

Israeli occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians.

According to Palestinian prisoner advocacy groups, there are now 4780 Palestinians held in Israeli occupation prisons, including 29 women, 915 administrative detainees and 160 children.

In 2020, ‘Israel’ arrested 4,634 Palestinians, among them 543 children and 128 women.

‘Israel’ arrested over 8000 Palestinians, including 1300 minors and 184 women, in 2021, however.

In 2022, Israeli occupation arrested 7000 Palestinians, including 882 children and 172 women.
