Israeli forces arrest 12 Palestinian policemen, confiscate their vehicles
Ne’lin (QNN)- The Israeli army on Saturday arrested 12 Palestinian policemen and confiscated their vehicles while they were on duty in the village of Ne’lin in western Ramallah, according to Ne’lin’s mayor Imad Al Khawaja.
Al Khawaja told QNN Arabic that the policemen were carrying out an operation to arrest suspects who are wanted over criminal charges before they were stopped and arrested by Israeli soldiers at Ne’lin’s military checkpoint.
He added that an Israeli police vehicle happened to exist in the area of the operation. When the Palestinian policemen were on their back to Ramallah they were ambushed by the Israeli army.
