Israeli FM Says Trump’s Ethnic Cleansing Gaza Plan Is ‘Still Alive’, West Bank Is ‘Disputed’

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar claimed that the occupied West Bank is “disputed territory” and not occupied land. He also stated that U.S. President Donald Trump’s ethnic cleansing plan for Gaza is still on the table.

In an interview with the French newspaper Le Figaro, Sa’ar alleged that Israel has often been open to negotiations with the Palestinian people. However, he claimed that talks are not possible with the current Palestinian Authority leadership.

Sa’ar also ruled out the possibility of a Palestinian state in the West Bank at this time. He justified Israel’s rejection of a Palestinian state claiming that Hamas would take control of such a state, which would pose a major security threat to the occupation state.

Regarding Gaza, Sa’ar claimed the ongoing genocide aims to free Israeli prisoners held by Palestinian resistance factions and eliminate future threats to Israel.

He claimed that “If Hamas fighters withdraw from Gaza and surrender their weapons, the war will end tomorrow. But so far, they have proven that they do not want peace.”

Sa’ar insisted that Trump’s ethnic cleansing plan for Gaza remains relevant. However, he said two conditions must be met. First, Gazans who want to leave the strip, which has been going through genocide for over a year and half, should be allowed to do so, which he claimed does not constitute forced displacement. Second, countries must be found that are willing to accept expelled Palestinians.

According to the news outlet Axios, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has tasked the Mossad with finding nations that will take in large numbers of expelled native Palestinians from Gaza.

The report also stated that Trump had previously proposed relocating over two million Gazans as part of a plan to rebuild the enclave and transform it into a “Middle Eastern Riviera.” However, the proposal faced widespread rejection.
