Israeli flag parade to take place next Thursday, Israeli media reports

Israelis wave national flags during a Jerusalem Day march, in Jerusalem, Monday, May 10, 2021. Israeli police have changed the route of a contentious march by Jewish ultranationalists in Jerusalem, in an apparent attempt to avoid confrontations with Palestinian protesters. Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The Israeli occupation police have approved the Israeli flag parade next Thursday, Israel Hayom reported.

Israel’s Channel 12 also reported that Israel’s Foreign Minister urged Benjamin Netanyahu to hold an urgent meeting to discuss the situation in the occupied Jerusalem, amid warnings by both Israeli politicians and Hamas against allowing the event to take place, especially so shortly after Israel’s aggression on the Gaza Strip ended on May 21.

Barrage of missiles fired by the resistance in Gaza had forced Israeli settlers to cancel their march on the 28th night of Ramadan. The march is an annual Israeli actively, celebrating the occupation and annexation of the eastern part of Jerusalem.
