Israeli court sentences Palestinian woman to 8 years in jail

Occupied Palestine (QNN) – The Israeli Central Court in occupied Jerusalem has given an eight-year prison sentence to 21-year-old Nawal Fatiha, a Jerusalemite citizen.

Amjad Abu Asab, head of the Family Committee of the Jerusalemite Prisoners, said that the Israeli court also ordered Fatiha to pay a fine of 30,000 shekels ($9,050).

Israeli occupation forces detained citizen Fatiha on 21 February 2020, Abu Asab pointed out.

He added that Fatiha is being held in harsh detention conditions in “Damon” prison.

According to Palestinian statistics, about 4,500 Palestinians, including 32 women and 160 children, are currently languishing in Israeli detention jails.
