Israeli corporal accused of kidnapping three Palestinians and stealing their car

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The Israeli military court on Monday filed an indictment against a corporal, responsible for kidnaping three Palestinians and stealing their car in the West Bank.

The corporal, who serves in the “Givati” Brigade, set up a fake checkpoint then ordered three Palestinians, who were riding a car, to stop. The soldier threatened them at gunpoint before stealing their car.

After using the car for his personal purposes, the soldier left it on a West Bank road.

The crime took place last March, but the indictment was filed today.

According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), the Israeli army has 705 permanent checkpoints and hundreds of temporary ones throughout the West Bank. The Israeli army uses the checkpoints to humiliate native Palestinians and commit different types of crimes.
