Israeli authorities deport Sheikh Najeh Bkeirat from al-Aqsa Mosque

Occupied Palestine (QNN) – Israeli occupation authorities on Sunday issued an order banning the deputy director of the Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem from entering the al-Aqsa Mosque for six months.

Local sources reported that the Israeli intelligence services summoned the deputy director of the Islamic Waqf Department Sheikh Najeh Bkeirat and questioned him before giving him the ban order.

Sheikh Bkeirat has been exposed to detention and interrogation several times over the past years, in addition to receiving multiple travel ban orders.

Also, he has frequently been denied entry to al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City for different periods that varies between one week and several months.
