In Video| Israeli army officially announces murdering 53-year-old fighter in occupied Ramallah
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The Palestinian Liaison Committee announced on Monday that the Israelis informed them that Fakher Abu Zayed (53 years old), from Beitunia in Western Ramallah, was murdered by the Israeli army.
The Israeli army has previously announced that Abu Zayed was responsible for a resistance operation against Israeli forces in the illegal settlement of Dolev near Ramallah over 10 days ago.
Local sources said that the Israelis had confiscated Aby Zayed’s car and arrested his sons five days ago.
QNN reporters stated that Israeli forces broke into the house of Abu Zayed and vandalized it a few days ago. They also broke into his place of work and confiscated his car.
The Israeli army had claimed earlier on Monday that it found the body of Abu Zayed, who was responsible for a resistance operation in the settlement of Dolev (an illegal settlement built on stoled land in western Ramallah). One Israeli soldier was wounded in the operation.
Israeli Channel 12 reported that Abu Zayed was wounded with ten bullets during Dolev operation. He withdrew from the location of the operation due to the wounds that he had.
The body of Abu Zayed was found on Monday with an M16 gun next to him, the Israeli channel reported.
The Israeli army has been searching for the wounded fighter for ten days without success while he has been the whole time only one Kilometer away from the location of the operation.
