Khan Yunis (Quds News Network) – Late last night, Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes targeting various areas in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, causing a number of civilian casualties and injuries, according to reports from medical sources.
The Al-Amal neighborhood, located west of Khan Yunis, bore the brunt of the Israeli bombardment, leading to the tragic loss of several innocent lives and leaving numerous others wounded, local sources said.
In addition to the aerial assault, Israeli occupation forces continued artillery shelling in the vicinity of Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.

Meanwhile, Israeli fighter jets targeted a house in the Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, causing massive destruction but no confirmed casualties so far.
Preliminary estimates indicate that the ongoing Israeli military campaign in Gaza has led to the loss of approximately 24,927 lives since October 7, with an alarming 62,388 individuals sustaining injuries. Among the casualties, a significant number are women and children.
Moreover, the relentless aggression has forced nearly 2 million people to flee their homes across the Gaza Strip, marking one of the largest mass displacements in Palestine since the Nakba in 1948.
The majority of the displaced individuals have been forced by the occupying Israeli regime into the densely populated southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt.
