Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza School Kills 15, Injures Dozens

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Israel killed fifteen civilians and injured dozens more on Tuesday when Israeli airstrikes hit Al-Hurriya School in Gaza’s Al-Zaytoun neighborhood.

The school housed hundreds of displaced families. Some victims arrived at Al-Mamdani Hospital in fragments, with over 30 wounded, including children and women.

Additional airstrikes targeted Al-Saftawi in northwest Gaza, killing one person and injuring others. Attacks on Gaza’s Shujaiya neighborhood also caused casualties, while an Israeli drone strike in Jabalia killed another Palestinian and wounded several.

Humanitarian Crisis Deepens

Israel’s relentless bombings and shelling continue across Gaza, targeting civilian homes and shelters. Ambulances and civil defense teams struggle to operate due to fuel shortages, with Israeli forces blocking supply routes. Gaza is now fully severed from the north, worsening the humanitarian crisis.

The Gaza Civil Defense announced Tuesday that its vehicles have stopped functioning due to Israel’s refusal to allow fuel deliveries. Over 2 million residents—nearly 90% of Gaza’s population—are displaced, according to the Government Media Office.

The Ministry of Health reported 18 deaths in the past 24 hours. Since October 7, 2023, Israeli attacks have killed or injured nearly 149,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children. More than 10,000 remain missing, with the devastation leaving Gaza in ruins and suffering one of the world’s worst humanitarian disasters.

The Gaza genocide, supported by the US, has drawn widespread condemnation. Despite an ICJ’s provisional measures, in which it ordered Israel to take all measures to prevent any acts contrary to the 1948 Genocide Convention, Israel’s army continued to bombard civilian targets, including shelters and densely populated areas, intensifying calls for urgent global intervention.
