Israeli Airstrike Kills Four Shortly Before Iftar in New Ceasefire Violation

Gaza (Quds News News)- An Israeli airstrike killed four Palestinians in Gaza’s Zeitoun neighborhood shortly before Iftar meal on the 14th day of Ramadan. The victims were gathering firewood near Sabha Al-Harazin School when the Israelis attacked them.

Israel continues to violate the ceasefire agreement, which began on January 19, 2025. Israeli forces have breached the ceasefire 962 times through bombings and ground incursions. These violations have killed 116 civilians and wounded 490 since early March.

Israel has also failed to meet its commitments to allow fuel and humanitarian aid into Gaza. The agreement required 50 fuel trucks per day, but only 978 have entered over 42 days—an average of just 23 daily.

The humanitarian crisis is worsening. Only 15 mobile homes have entered Gaza, despite the need for 60,000 to shelter displaced families. Heavy machinery for clearing debris and retrieving bodies remains restricted, with only nine machines allowed in, while at least 500 are required.

Israel has also blocked construction materials and medical equipment needed to restore hospitals. For the past 13 days, it has prevented all humanitarian aid from reaching Gaza, intensifying a hunger crisis that many describe as collective punishment.
