Israeli airstrike kills civilians at bread sale point in Jabalia

Gaza (Quds News Network)- On the 332nd day of the genocide, Israeli airstrikes have continued to target civilian targets across Gaza, including a point selling ready-made bread in the northern part of the region, leading to a significant rise in casualties. The Ministry of Health reported that Israeli forces have carried out three massacres against families in the past 24 hours, resulting in 48 deaths and 70 injuries. Many of the victims remain trapped under the rubble or in the streets, inaccessible to rescue teams due to ongoing attacks.

Since the early hours of today, medical sources have reported the deaths of 23 Palestinians in Israeli airstrikes across various locations in Gaza. Among the victims, four Palestinians were killed, and several others injured, when an airstrike targeted a house and a water well in the Al-Karama area, northwest of Gaza City.

The Civil Defense confirmed the death of eight Palestinians following an Israeli strike in front of Al-Fakhoura School, a refuge for displaced people in Jabalia, northern Gaza. Mahmoud Basal, the spokesperson for the Civil Defense, stated, “Martyrs and wounded have fallen in an Israeli airstrike on a group of Palestinians in front of Al-Fakhoura School in Jabalia.” This airstrike also targeted a point selling ready-made bread in the northern part of the region, amplifying fears of an escalating humanitarian crisis.

This is not the first time Al-Fakhoura School has been the site of tragedy. In November of last year, an Israeli attack on the school resulted in hundreds of casualties, both dead and wounded. The recent escalation has brought back painful memories of that massacre, with families again mourning their lost loved ones.

In another tragic incident, two Palestinians, including a child, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a group of people in northwest Al-Nuseirat camp, central Gaza, on Monday. Additional airstrikes targeted the area around Shuhada’ Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza, and a home belonging to Al-Anqa family in Al-Tuffah neighborhood, eastern Gaza City, injuring several residents.

The Israeli bombardment continues to strike various parts of Gaza, leading to more deaths and injuries. Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli military, with American support, has waged war on Gaza. This offensive has resulted in over 135,000 casualties, including a large number of women and children, more than 10,000 missing persons, widespread destruction, and a severe humanitarian crisis marked by deadly famine.
