Israeli aircraft targets Iranian and Syrian sites near Damascus

Damascus (QNN)- Israeli warplanes carried out a series of strikes on Iranian and Syrian sits near Damascus last night.
Syrian state news agency SANA said the regime’s anti-aircraft defenses confronted a “heavy attack” and “intercepted hostile missiles”, which was fired at occupied Golan Heights and Marjaayoun on Wednesday by Israeli warplanes.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that 11 Iranian soldiers, militia members, and Syrian soldiers were killed in the strikes.
It also stated that seven of those, who were killed, are of other nationalities. A family of a husband, a wife, and a child were killed in the strikes in Beit Saber village.
The Israeli army recognized carrying out “wide-scale strikes” on dozens of Iranian and Syrian military targets near Damascus.
“Warplanes raided dozens of military targets belonging to the Iranian Quds Force and the Syrian Army inside Syrian territory, including surface-to-air missiles, headquarters, weapons depots and military bases, in response to yesterday’s rocket fire from Syria towards Israel,” Israeli military spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Avichay Adraee said on Twitter.
