Israel Violates Ceasefire and Commits Massacres in Just 5 Hours: Gaza Authorities

Gaza (Quds News Network)- The Israeli occupation continues its massacres after resuming its genocidal war in Gaza, with more than 320 Palestinians killed in just five hours, according to Gaza’s Government Media Office, which emphasized the already “severe humanitarian crisis” caused by Israel’s blockade of aid into the strip.

“In a blatant violation of all international and humanitarian laws, the Israeli occupation continues its massacres as part of an ongoing genocide against our Palestinian people, disregarding the ceasefire agreement,” the Office said in a statement on Tiesday morning.

“As of now, there are over 322 martyrs and missing people, along with dozens of injuries, all within just five hours in the Gaza Strip, including entire families.”

“Some have been transported to hospitals, while many others remain unable to reach medical facilities due to the dire humanitarian conditions and the collapse of transportation in Gaza, caused by the fuel shortage. The majority of the martyrs and missing people are women, children, and elders.”

“This is an occupation thirsty for blood,” the Office said, noting the Israeli attacks come amid Israel’s blockade, which is preventing all humanitarian aid from entering the strip, including food, fuel, and medicine.

The Office stated that over 2.4 million Palestinians in Gaza have been “deprived of the most basic necessities of life, including food, medicine, water, infant formula, and other essential supplies,” amid accusations of using starvation as a weapon of war in Gaza.

At the same time, Gaza’s health system is collapsing due to the continued denial of medical supplies and humanitarian aid, it said, threatening to shut down hospitals and leaving them unable to treat the wounded and sick. “The ongoing fuel blockade also severely affects vital sectors, plunging Gaza into a full-scale disaster.”
