‘Israel’ uproots 100 palm trees in Jordan Valley

Occupied Jordan Valley (QNN)- Israeli bulldozers uprooted dozens of palm trees in the village of Jiftlik in the occupied Jordan Valley.

Aref Daraghmeh, a human rights activist, said Israeli bulldozers uprooted dozens of palm seedlings and trees, owned by Anwar Abu Joudeh, after breaking into Khirbet Allan.

The mayor of the village, Ahmad Abu Ghanem, said the Israelis uprooted and seized 100 palm trees in the village.

The Jordan Valley has been seeing a series of Israeli practices that aim at expelling native Palestinians and expand the settlement, including demolitions, arrests, trees uprooting, and assaults against shepherds.
