‘Israel’ to propose settlement plan for Biden

Occluded Palestine (QNN)- The Israeli government will propose a settlement plan for the new US President, Joe Biden.
According to ‘Israel Hayom‘, the plan is a continuation of a secret agreement between the occupation state and the Trump administration adopted four years ago that allowed for limited construction in small areas throughout the occupied Palestinian territories.
During the Trump administration, the occupation state could, through its military Civil Administration, approve construction plans in four separate intervals each year throughout the occupied West Bank.
The Israeli newspaper said as a result of adhering to the agreement, a large number of settlement buildings were built in the illegal settlements in recent years, and the number of detached houses under construction has declined. All construction plans for the occupied West Bank were also analyzed and approved by members of the US administration before being submitted to the Civil Administration’s planning committee.
Regarding illegal settlement in Jerusalem, the newspaper said there are no policy restrictions on construction in the city. However, some sources told the newspaper that even under former President Donald Trump, construction in occupied Jerusalem required Washington’s approval.
