Israel to demolish two homes near Hebron
Hebron (QNN) – Israeli occupation forces notified two Palestinians from Yatta town, south of Hebron, about their intention to demolish their homes under the pretext of lacking an Israeli construction permit.
Rateb Jabour, a local anti-Israeli settlement activist, told official Palestinian news agency Wafa that Israeli army handed Eid Nawaj’a and Musa Shawahin, two Palestinians from the town, a notice informing them that their homes will be demolished soon.
The Israeli authorities claimed that the demolition would take place on the ground that the house was built without an Israeli construction permit.
In recent years, Israeli occupation authorities demolished hundreds of homes in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem on the grounds of lacking an Israeli construction permit, which is almost impossible to obtain for Palestinians under current Israeli policies.
