‘Israel’ to demolish mosque in Jerusalem

Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli forces ordered on Monday to demolish Al Qa’qa’ mosque in Silwan in occupied Jerusalem.
Khaled Abu Tayeh, member of the Committee to Defend the Land of Silwan, told QNN that the Israeli forces issued an order to demolish the second story of the mosque, which was constructed two years ago.
He added that the Israeli municipality gave Palestinians 30 days to appeal.
Abu Tayeh stated that the occupation state has been targeting the mosque for several years, issuing penalties and preventing any construction works in it.
He noted that the neighborhood of Ain Lazeh, where the mosque is located, has been targeted by the Israeli municipality under the pretext of the Israeli intentions to build a national part on the ruins of the neighborhood.
