Israel Spending $300 Million Daily on War with Iran, Report

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- Israel is burning through $300 million a day in its war with Iran, according to an Israeli government adviser cited by The Economist. The cost covers mainly jet fuel and munitions.

“This government is prepared to pay whatever price for the war in Iran,” the adviser said. “Even if it means draining reserves and burying Israel in debt for generations.”

The financial toll adds to an already staggering war budget. Since October 2023, Israel has spent an estimated $85 billion on its wars in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Syria. That number came before the recent escalation with Iran.

Economists warn that this pace of spending is unsustainable. But Israeli leadership appears willing to ignore the long-term damage.

Meanwhile, the United States continues to provide financial and military support to Israel. In addition to the annual $3.8 billion in military aid, the Biden and Trump administrations have approved billions in emergency funding since the genocide in Gaza began. US military cargo planes and warships have also supplied Israel with ammunition, fuel, and defense systems.

Critics in Washington question how long the US can afford to bankroll Israel’s expanding war effort. But President Donald Trump has repeatedly said that America stands “fully behind Israel,” especially in its confrontation with Iran.
