Israel Simultaneously Strikes Three Gaza Hospitals
Gaza (Quds News Network)- Israeli forces escalated their attacks on hospitals in northern Gaza, targeting Al-Awda, Kamal Adwan, and the Indonesian hospitals simultaneously. Airstrikes and shelling continued across the Gaza Strip, hitting civilians and aid trucks.
In Beit Lahia, Kamal Adwan Hospital faced drone strikes and barrel bombs. The attack injured 20 medical staff and patients and caused severe damage to the hospital walls.
In Jabalia’s Tel Al-Zaatar area, heavy shelling around Al-Awda Hospital set the central medicine warehouse on fire. Nearby residential homes also caught fire due to the intense bombardment and tank shelling.
Israeli forces forced patients and the injured at the Indonesian Hospital to evacuate on foot under relentless gunfire at the hospital gates.
The Ministry of Health stressed that Israeli forces are systematically targeting hospitals to render them non-operational. Continuous strikes on Kamal Adwan Hospital caused extensive damage and terrified patients.
In central Gaza, an airstrike targeted a humanitarian aid convoy on Salah Al-Din Street in Deir Al-Balah. Four security guards escorting the convoy were killed. Outlaw armed groups looted a truck carrying flour under Israeli military protection. The UN and international aid agencies condemned the attacks and cited the near impossibility of delivering aid safely to Gaza. UNRWA suspended aid deliveries entirely.
In Khan Younis in the south, Al-Mawasi area mourned 17 people killed by Israeli airstrikes. The region, a haven for displaced families, has become a direct target of attacks.
UNICEF spokesperson Rosalia Polin described Gaza as a place where no child is safe. Ongoing bombings have caused severe psychological trauma among children.
Since October 7, over 153,000 Palestinians have been reported killed or injured, mostly women and children. More than 11,000 remain missing. The blockade and starvation policies have claimed the lives of dozens of children and elderly, creating one of the worst humanitarian disasters of modern times.
