Israel sends first delegation to Sudan since normalization

Sudan (QNN)- Israel’s first ever official delegation to Sudan took off from Ben Gurion Airport on Monday on its way to Khartoum for talks between the two countries on the normalization deal, Israel’s Army Radio reported.
However, Israeli and Sudanese officials had no immediate comment.
Sources said that the delegation had originally been scheduled for last week but was postponed for logistical reasons.
The delegation is made up of a small group of government officials and will prepare the groundwork for a larger visit of higher-level Israeli officials in the coming weeks, the Ynet news site reported.
Sudan is the third Arab country to normalize ties with Israel, following the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
