‘Israel’ “secretly” tests experimental Japanese coronavirus drug
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The occupation state has secretly received a shipment of the drug Avigan and will begin experimenting on COVID-19 patients with it, reported Israeli media.
The Israeli army radio reported on Monday that the occupation state received a first shipment of the drug, which followed efforts by Ambassador to Japan.
The drug, made by a Fujifilm subsidiary will be tested on a total of 80 patients at Hadassah, Sourasky, Poriah Hospital in Tiberias and Soroka Hospital in Beersheba. It has reportedly been effective in shortening the duration of sickness when taken in the early stages.
The occupation state is among the first countries to receive the drug. It was used in China, Turkey and Italy.
