Israel rejects Russian request to establish field hospital in Gaza

Gaza (QNN)- According to exclusive sources, Israeli authorities have rejected a request from Russia to establish a field hospital in the south of the Gaza Strip despite the dire humanitarian situation amidst the ongoing Israeli bombardment across Gaza.
Sources told QNN that the Russian request was made in a phone call between Russian and Israeli security officials. Israeli officials representing Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu conveyed the rejection of the Russian request during the phone call.
The sources told QNN though that the Israeli officials attempted to persuade their Russian counterparts to assist in the relocation of Gaza residents to Egypt by providing medical and humanitarian services on the Egyptian side of the border. They also attempted to convince the Russians to exert pressure on Egypt to accept the Israeli proposal. Russia, however, rejected the Israeli request.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza has announced that the Healthcare system in the heavily bombarded strip has collapsed. The General Director of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Muneer Al Boursh, posted on X yesterday that “the health system in the north of Gaza has been ended. What is left is only a few first aid centers in shelters (schools).” A few hours later, Israeli strikes targeted Al Boursh’s house, killing his 13-year-old daughter and wounding him and all other family members.
The Israeli intelligence ministry had planned for the relocation of the 2.3 million residents of the Gaza Strip to the Sinai peninsula in Egypt, according to documents leaked to Israeli media. The plan is confirmed in several statements by Israeli officials.
