Israel Re-Bombs American Citizen’s Home in Gaza Using Coordinates Provided for Rescue Effort

Gaza (Quds News Network)- The Israeli military has reportedly used coordinates provided for a rescue mission to bomb an American citizen’s home in Gaza for the second time. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the largest Muslim civil rights organization in the US, called on the Biden administration, the US State Department, and elected officials in Virginia to demand an immediate halt to Israeli airstrikes on Jabalia refugee camp, following the deaths of several family members of an American citizen.

The tragedy unfolded when an American citizen of Palestinian descent, a Virginia resident, informed CAIR that his family’s home in Gaza had been targeted in an Israeli airstrike. The attack left 15 people trapped in the rubble, including his mother, a lawful US resident, and seven children. Some family members, including his mother, survived the initial bombing but were injured.

In a desperate effort to save them, the family contacted Israeli authorities, providing the exact address and GPS coordinates of their home to arrange for an ambulance. Shockingly, the Israeli military used this information to bomb the house again, killing more family members. When an ambulance arrived to rescue survivors, it too was reportedly targeted, resulting in the deaths of the doctor and several children. Only one child, a seven-year-old boy, survived the attack.

CAIR has reached out to the White House and the State Department to provide details of the horrific incident, in which the mother, a US resident, and her extended family were killed. The organization is demanding immediate US action to halt the attacks and recover the bodies.

In a statement, CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said, “This is a documented Israeli war crime of the execution of a US resident and her extended family in Gaza.” He urged the Biden administration to stop supplying Israel with weapons used in the ongoing Gaza genocide, stressing that American taxpayer dollars are funding weapons being used to kill US citizens and residents.

Awad also called for an immediate ceasefire, stating, “The Biden administration has shown little concern for the mass killing of Palestinians, but perhaps it can be moved to recover the body of a US resident who is also the mother of an American citizen.”
