‘Israel’ prevents Governor of Jerusalem from entering West Bank for six months

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Israeli authorities on Monday informed the Governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Gheith, of being prevented from entering the occupied West Bank or contacting specified persons for six months.

Gheith said that after being interrogated at Maskubiyyeh interrogation centre, the Israelis prevented him from entering the West Bank or contacting specified persons for six months.

He added that he has 72 hours to appeal against both decisions and that he was subjected to a similar decision nearly one year ago.

The Governor of Jerusalem is a former prisoner from Silwan, Jerusalem. He was prevented from entering his own city several times.

He told QNN in a previous meeting that he was arrested 15 times while in office. He assured that the Israeli assaults against him are only a part of the Israeli vicious attack on the city and its native people.
