Israel orders halt on construction of 15 houses in West Bank village

Ramallah (QNN) – Israeli occupation forces ordered today a halt on the ongoing construction of 15 Palestinian-owned houses in the village of Kafr al-Dik, near the occupied West Bank town of Salfit, according to Ibrahim al-Issa, mayor of Kafr al-Dik.
He told official news agency WAFA that Israeli forces raided the town and handed the halt on construction orders to the town residents.
Israel claims the construction is in Area C of the occupied West Bank, which is under full Israeli military control, where Palestinians are not allowed to build.
Israeli occupation authorities almost ban all kinds of development for Palestinians in Area C, leaving Palestinians with no choice but to built illegally in order to fulfil their increasing housing needs.
