Israel Orders Evacuation of Gaza’s Kamel Adwan Hospital Amid Escalating Siege

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Gaza’s Kamel Adwan Hospital, located in the northern region of the besieged Gaza Strip, faces a dire crisis as Israeli forces continue their military assault on the area. Israeli occupation forces have issued an ultimatum to the hospital’s administration, demanding the evacuation of staff and patients by tomorrow. This order has sparked urgent calls from hospital officials, who are appealing to international organizations to intervene and halt the dangerous decision.

The hospital administration has reported the detention of a paramedic and the disruption of medical services, particularly in the evacuation of newborns in critical condition. The Israeli military’s actions are severely hindering the hospital’s ability to function, and there are growing concerns that the broader healthcare system in northern Gaza could be forced offline, leading to mass displacement of civilians in the region.

Siege Tightens Around Hospital

The Ministry of Health has issued a series of alarming statements, confirming that Israeli forces have surrounded Kamel Adwan Hospital and opened fire on the administrative offices. The hospital, now on the brink of closure due to an imminent fuel shortage, is one of several healthcare facilities, which were reoperated following Israeli attacks then put under siege. The Israeli military has also ordered the evacuation of other hospitals in northern Gaza, including the Indonesian Hospital and Al-Awda Hospital, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.

Assaults Escalates in Jabalia Refugee Camp

The situation in the nearby Jabalia refugee camp, just east of the hospital, is equally grim. Israeli forces have imposed a full siege on the camp and surrounding neighborhoods such as Tal Al-Za’atar, Al-Sikka, Beit Hanoun, and Beit Lahia. Tanks and drone aircraft have blocked critical roads, including the junction leading to Al-Halabi Square in Jabalia, isolating residents who are already enduring relentless airstrikes and artillery fire. Several families are reportedly trapped under the rubble as rescue teams cannot each them.

Despite the bombardment, thousands of families remain trapped in their homes, facing increasingly difficult living conditions. The Israeli military’s intensified attacks have destroyed numerous residential buildings, and ongoing clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinian resistance fighters continue in the area.

Paramedic Detained, Medical Teams Stranded

Israeli forces have detained a paramedic and prevented the evacuation of premature babies. Israeli military checkpoints along Salah al-Din road restrict the movement of civilians and aid workers attempting to leave the area.

As the situation deteriorates, Gaza’s health officials warn that the Kamel Adwan Hospital could run out of fuel within hours, rendering it inoperable. Without immediate international intervention, the hospital will be forced to shut down, leaving thousands of civilians without access to medical care in the heart of an escalating war zone.
