Israel opens fire at fishermen in Gaza

Gaza (QNN)- One Palestinian fisherman was wounded on Wednesday while two others were arrested in the northern area of Gaza’s sea.

Local sources said that the Israeli navy chased on the early morning of Wednesday boats of Palestinian fishermen while they were fishing in the northern area of Gaza’s sea and opened fire at them, injuring one fisherman and arresting two others.

The wounded fisherman Muhammad Abu Ryaleh was evacuated by other fishermen and transferred to a hospital in Gaza, while the boat of those arrested, who are Hazem an Khaled Abu Ryahleh, was confiscated and taken to an unknown destination.

Palestinian fishermen have been subject to daily Israeli assaults, which included shooting, chasing, confiscation of boats and equipment, and being banned from fishing.
