‘Israel’ must amend its Open-Fire Policy that allows killing of Palestinians, says Euro-Med Monitor
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor said there is a need to pressure the Israeli occupation forces to amend their “Open-Fire Policy that allows the killing of Palestinians who throw stones.”
In response to Israel’s Saturday killing of 18-year-old Palestinian Musab Nafal, Euro-Med Monitor tweeted, “The killing of the Palestinian youth Musab Nafel for throwing stones at settler vehicles is disgraceful and lacks necessity and proportionality.”
“This highlights the need to pressure the IDF to amend its Open-Fire Policy that allows the killing of Palestinians who throw stones.”

On Saturday night, Nafal, a resident of the al-Mazra’a al-Sharqiya town, died from serious wounds sustained by Israeli occupation bullets near the village of Sinjil.
Local sources reported that Nafal and another youth were shot and seriously injured by Israeli gunfire while they were walking near Sinjil town.
Nafal was handed over by the forces to Palestinian medical teams before he was rushed to a hospital and was pronounced dead of his wounds while the other unnamed youth was arrested by the forces despite the fact the he was seriously injured.
According to his family, Nafal had recently finished high school and worked at a gas station. He was the youngest of four brothers.
Israeli media quoted the Israeli forces spokesperson claiming that Nafal and another young Palestinian were ‘ambushed’ by Israeli forces as they were about to throw stones on an Israeli road.
This morning, 15-year-old Mehdi Hashash, a resident of the Balata refugee camp, was shot and killed by Israeli occupation gunfire during a raid by Israeli forces and colonial settlers into Joseph’s Tomb.
