Israel murders two journalists, including Al Jazeera correspondent

Gaza (Quds News network)- Israel has murdered Al Jazeera correspondent Ismail Al-Ghoul and photojournalist Rami Al-Reefi in Gaza City following an Israeli airstrike that targeted their vehicle.

The journalists were covering events near the home of the late Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Hamas Political Bureau, in the Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City when the attack occurred.

According to Al Jazeera reporter Anas Al-Sharif, the vehicle carrying Al-Ghoul and Al-Reefi was directly targeted by a drone strike. The harrowing footage showed that Al-Ghoul was decapitated in the attack.

With the killing of journalists Al-Ghoul and Al-Reefi, the total number of journalists killed in the ongoing genocidal war has risen to 165. Additionally, several journalists have been detained.

During the genocide, Ismail Al-Ghoul bid farewell to his brother, who was killed a few months earlier, and could not say goodbye to his father, who passed away upon reaching Doha for medical treatment.

The war has separated Al-Ghoul from his family—his wife and daughter—since the beginning of the aggression, forcing them to flee to the south.

In a previous incident, Israeli occupation forces raided the Al-Shifa Medical Complex and detained Al-Ghoul and Al-Reefi. The two journalists managed to escape later.
