Israel minister advocates for ‘more agonizing measures than death’ for Palestinians

Jerusalem (Quds News Network) – Israeli Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu has called for Israel to find “ways for Gazans that are more painful than death” to defeat them and shatter their morale, drawing parallels with how the US dealt with Japan.
Speaking on Israeli radio station 103 FM, Eliyahu asserted that Israel should secure victory by undermining the morale of Palestinians in Gaza, inflicting pain related to their land, demolishing homes, thwarting their national aspirations, and encouraging voluntary emigration.
When challenged by the presenter, who deemed such measures impossible, Eliyahu insisted it was achievable, citing the example of the Arab Spring, where a significant number of people from the region immigrated to Germany.
According to the Israeli minister, Gaza residents should be incentivized to emigrate to other countries as part of retaliatory actions following the events of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
Eliyahu strongly criticized Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for his post-war plan, proposing that civil affairs in the Gaza Strip be managed by Palestinian parties not hostile to Israel. Eliyahu argued that no group fit this description.
In November, the Israeli minister advocated for the use of a nuclear bomb on Gaza, advocating for wiping it off the face of the earth.
Eliyahu is associated with the far-right extremist Otzma Yehudit party, led by National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. This party supports settlement construction, regaining control of the Gaza Strip, and espouses extremist ideologies.
His latest statement aligns with Israeli calls to displace Gaza Strip residents and relocate them to other countries.
