‘Israel’ launches massive arrest campaign in West Bank and Jerusalem
Occupied West Bank (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces launched Monday a massive arrest campaign, which targeted different areas of the occupied West Bank, arresting 25 Palestinians.
Most Palestinians, who were arrested, are from the village of Kobar in western Ramallah, with nine Palestinians being arrested from it.
Other civilians from Ein Qinyh, Bireh, Kafr Ein, Safa, Badras, and Zawyeh were also arrested.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces broke into the house of the Chairman of the Islamic Higher Commission and Preacher of the Al Aqsa mosque Sheikh Ikrima Sabri and summoned him for interrogation.
On Saturday, the Israeli army also summoned the Director-General of the Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem for interrogation Sheikh Azzam Khatib.
Israeli forces have arrested in the last few days three guards of the Al Aqsa mosque and two teenage girls.
