Israel Kills Seven Children Trying to Access Drinking Water in Gaza’s So-Called Al-Mawasi ‘Safe Zone’

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Seven Palestinian children were killed in an Israeli strike while attempting to access drinking water in al-Mawasi in southern Gaza, the area where Israel is forcing residents to forcibly displace themselves to, claiming it is a “safe zone.”
Local and medical sources confirmed that at least ten people, including seven children, were killed while lining up to get drinking water in the Attar area in al-Mawasi.
The attack took place at the same time as the Israeli military ordered Gaza City residents to flee to al-Mawasi, claiming there will be better humanitarian services there and that it would be safer, amid a stated plan to occupy the city and forcibly displace about one million people to the south.
Since the start of the Israeli genocide, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have fled repeated Israeli bombardments, seeking refuge in areas Israel declared “safe zones.” Al-Mawasi, once designated as a humanitarian corridor, is now under direct and repeated attacks.
