The attack claimed over 100 lives, turning most of them into pieces, and left dozens injured or missing, marking one of the deadliest assaults in recent weeks. The Government Media Office reported that the bombing targeted Al-Tabeen School, where thousands of displaced individuals were seeking refuge. Eyewitnesses described the horror, stating that the bombing began immediately after the prayer commenced, causing a rapid rise in casualties. The attack involved three missiles, each loaded with 2,000 pounds of explosives, according to Ismail Al-Thawabta, Director-General of the Government Media Office. Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal confirmed that nearly 90% of those praying in the school were murdered, with most injuries being critical.
