‘Israel’ killed 11 Palestinian children in 2021 in occupied West Bank, 66 in Gaza Strip

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Three Palestinian teenagers were killed by Israeli gunfire in the span of a week in the occupied West Bank, bringing the death toll of Palestinian youth killed by ‘Israel’ in 2021 to 77.

On July 23, Israeli forces shot Muhammad Munir al-Tamimi in Nabi Saleh village, north of Ramallah with live ammunition in his back.

The bullet exited through his abdomen, “tearing a large hole and exposing his intestines,” according to information collected by Defense for Children International – Palestine, adding that al-Tamimi underwent four hours of surgery before being transferred to the ICU.

He succumbed to his injuries several hours later, and was pronounced dead at around midnight.

On June 26, 17-year-old Yousef Nawaf Mhareb, from Abwein village in Ramallah, succumbed to wounds he had sustained two months prior, when he was shot in the neck by Israeli forces during protests in May over Israeli aggression in Sheikh Jarrah and the Al Aqsa Mosque, protests that sparked the latest Israeli aggression in Gaza Strip.

Mhareb was in the ICU for 74 days before succumbing to his wounds on June 26.

On June 28, 12-year-old Palestinian child Muhammad Allami was killed by the Israeli forces after they opened fire directly at him at the entry to Beit Ummar in Hebron.

The child sustained serious injuries in his chest. His death was announced shortly after being shot.

The killing of the three children brought the death toll of Palestinian youth killed by Israeli gunfire in the West Bank since January to 11.

Another 66 children were killed during the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip last May, bringing the total number of Palestinian youth killed by Israeli forces so far in 2021 to 77.
