‘Israel’ hands over body of slain 16-year-old to his family
Ramallah (QNN)- Israeli forces on Friday handed over the body of Muhammad Damer Matar (16 years old) to his family after over a year of confiscation.
A Red Crescent ambulance and a few members of the slain boy’s family received his body at Ni’lin military checkpoint in western Ramallah today afternoon.
The teenager was shot dead by Israeli forces at the entrance to the village of Deir Abu Mish’al on August 20, 2020.
Israeli forces detained him after shooting him and prevented medical crews from reaching him until he died.
The occupation state has withheld nearly 88 bodies of Palestinians, who were killed by Israeli forces and settlers since the Second Intifada.
Reports stated that the occupation state of Israel withholds nearly 253 bodies of Palestinians in cemeteries of numbers, the oldest of them was killed back in 1980.
Meanwhile, the occupations state continues to reject providing information on the fate of 68 missing persons.
