‘Israel’ detained 3100 native Palestinians in May within massive arrest campaign

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Human rights watchdogs revealed that the occupation state arrested over 3100 native Palestinians throughout Palestine last May only.

In its monthly joint report, human rights organizations (The Committee of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, The Palestinian Prisoners’ Assocciation, Addameer, and Wadi Hilwweh Information Center), revealed that the occupation state escalated its arrest campaign throughout Palestine, arresting over 3100 native Palestinians, including 42 women and 471 children. Most arrests were carried out in the 1948-occupied cities with 2000 detainees, including 291 children.

The report said the Israeli arrests targeted all categories of the Palestinian society. In the West Bank, nearly 1100 citizens, including 180 children, were arrested, while in Jerusalem 677 were arrested.

Meanwhile, the occupation state issued 200 administrative detention orders, including 116 new ones.

The Israeli campaign raises the toll of political detainees in Israeli jails until the end of May to nearly 5300, including 40 women and nearly 250 children.
