Israel demolishes structure and levels land in Silwan

Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli bulldozers on Thursday demolished a Palestinian structure and leveled an agricultural land next to it in Silwan in southern Jerusalem.

Iyad Shweiki told QNN that Israeli municipality teams and policemen broke into a house that he owns in the Thawri neighborhood in Silwan.

He added that the Israeli bulldozers leveled three dunums of the land as well.

Shweiki, a former prisoner, said that the Israelis claim that the land has been confiscated for Israeli projects.

It is worth mentioning that the occupation state had demolished 16 Palestinian structures in occupied Jerusalem last January alone, displacing dozens of Palestinian families.
