‘Israel’ demolishes Al Araqeeb village for the 171st time
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished the Palestinian village of Al Araqeeb for the 171st time on Monday.
Local sources stated that Israeli forces stormed the village and demolished its tents for the 171st time while its residents were attending a court session that discussed their land rights.
The Israelis demolished the village 170 times before, the latest time was on December 31, 2019.
Located in the Negev desert, Al-Araqeeb is one of 51 Arab villages in the area that the Israeli occupation authorities do not recognise and which has been targeted for demolition ahead of building homes for new Jewish communities.
Entire families have been repeatedly made homeless as a result of the demolition.
