‘Israel’ continues to detain Jordanians without charges
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The occupation state of Israel continues to detain two Jordanians, who have Palestinian IDs, under administrative detention without any charges, one of them is a cancer patient.
In August 20, Israeli forces arrested Hiba Al Libdi on King Hussein bridge while she was heading with her mother to the occupied West Bank to attend a wedding in occupied Nablus.
Local sources said that Labadi was subjected to an arduous investigation in jails of Israeli intelligence in Petah Tikva. She was reportedly subjected to physical torture which included shabeh (shackling the detainee’s hands and legs to a small chair, angled to slant forward so that the detainee cannot sit in a stable position) and sleep deprivation.
Despite of having no charges, Israeli intelligence ordered to extend Hiba’s administrative detention for 72 hours.
Abderrahman Mer’i (29 years old) is another Jordanian, who was also arrested under administrative detention with no charges.
Mer’i was arrested while he was heading to occupied West Bank to attend a wedding as well.
Israeli forces arrested Mer’i, who suffers from a brain tumor and has been under treatment since 2010, along with his mother.
